Dog with a Job – Furbearers and Office Duties on the New Job

We have been very busy lately finishing the deer surveys and trying to get everything ready for winter. We also have been collecting data on furbearer species (coyotes, foxes, raccoons, beaver, and muskrat). Katie really enjoys spending all day in the field, especially when we have coyotes to check in. Office work is becoming plentiful, the weather is getting colder, and Katie isn’t doing as much. At the office, Katie greets everyone who comes in and enjoys the petting she is receiving. Soon the winter work will begin and snowshoes will come out. Already Katie gets excited when her winter work gear is noticed as the closet door opens. She is ready for the change of the seasons.
